Today, the first of June starts yoga in the zoo. I have been practicing yoga for the past two years. My wife, Margie, had done it for years before but I never really wanted to participate. How wrong was I? I love it now. It focuses me after a week at school. I love the stretching and the way it makes my body feel. Yoga at the zoo meets every Saturday morning at the pavilion on the lagoon just across from the farm in the zoo. It’s a covered area but quite open.Today was very crowded, perhaps 40 people. Usually it’s about 20. There are several teachers and they are all great. If you are thinking about practicing yoga this summer, this is a great place to start.
